PRAYAS (S.S.O) has adopted the Bye Laws by the General Body Meeting held on 14.05.2007, which envisages following aims and objectives -

1 This S.S.O helps the orphanage / old age homes at remote areas, those are not getting proper care / help / attention by any Government body.
2 This S.S.O provides opportunity for various groups/classes like youth, women, working class to plan systemic collective action in meeting five basic needs viz. food, shelter, cloth, education & medicine.
3 This S.S.O promotes harmonious co-operation between various talents and professions for the common goal.
4 This S.S.O educates the individuals and the community to make awareness of their problems & also to solve them with available resources, through their organized & collective efforts.
5 This S.S.O aims to educate and motivate the downtrodden people for their own survival & wellbeing in the society.
6 This S.S.O provides opportunity for various groups to educate those downtroden people for collective responsibility to meet their five basic needs viz. food, shelter, cloth, education & medicine.
7 This S.S.O promotes harmonious co-operation between various talents and professionals for the common goal.
8 This S.S.O educates the individuals and the community to be aware of their problems & to solve them with resources available, through organized & collective efforts.
9 This S.S.O aims to educate and motivate the downtrodden people for their own survival & wellbeing in the society.
10 This S.S.O promotes & facilitates establishments of people’s organization, village committee, women’s association & youth forum, keeping in view their active participation in planning & implementation.
11 This S.S.O co-operates & collaborates with others in implementation of development programmes for educating the youth on national integration, family welfare and protection of environment etc.
12 This S.S.O motivates those dynamic youths for eradicating those social evils e.g dowry, untouchability, child marriage, bonded labour, alcoholism, illiteracy & cruelty to animals/birds for religious purposes.
13 This S.S.O identifies those poor & down trodden children, who are not getting minimum scope for their education & we provide all assisstance to them for continuation in education by adopting them.
14 This S.S.O helps those poor patients, who are not in a position to afford their medicines & medical treatment at any crisis.
15 This S.S.O provides facilities for women education by involving educated girls/women in village and slum level.
16 This S.S.O helps to form Self Help Groups (S.H.G) in rural areas and enabling them to earn by implementing different women empowerment schemes in the society.
17 This S.S.O helps those distress people at the time of natural calamities e.g. flood, cyclone, Covid-19 etc.
